My definition of beauty someone who has inner beauty as well as what is perceived by someone to have outer beauty. To me, there is no point on being recognised as being beautiful by someone if you are a horrible person because that factor shines through. Beauty comes from someones energy and vibe, if its positive that's what you will see. There needs to stop being a cookie cutter image of what's beautiful. The media has done a great job of telling abd convincing people of what's hot and what's not. They need something else to look up to.

First of all, I'd like to thank you fashion hero for finally recognising this huge issue in the modelling world! I have always loved modelling, having my dad be a professional photographer when I was young, I was used to posing in front of the camera. Although as I grew older and started applying for auditions for modelling agencies and jobs, I was always knocked back from the same thing ( height and body shape). I am 5' 5" and it is always too short. This rule makes absolutely no sense to me. If you are a good photographer you can make someone look any height you want. For example celebrities are constantly on magazines and used to Endorse products and brands, THEY have no height requirements and the media makes them look appealing and great! Look at the kardashians, you see them everywhere with plenty of full body shots and kim and kourtney are even shorter than me. In regards to runway modelling, I feel people would rather see clothes on someone who is fit and athletic with some curve factor as its more relatable and realistic. Anyway... besides my strong opposed view on modelling standards I am also an actress singer and dancer, I think this gives me personality and versatility as a model. I am also currently studying business marketing at university as I believe most successful people are great business men and women regardless of their field.
