I am KiannaD a survivor of anxiety and depression. Being plus sized all my life I had to learn to love myself outside of societies standards. Having to learn that “you’re cute for a big girl” is not a complement and that I don’t have to settle for anything in life. Now I’m on a path to follow all the dreams I was always afraid to admit I wanted! I grew up watching tv saying, I can do that but never believing that I would have the opportunity. Bump that! You never know unless you take a risk and I’m ready to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way!

Fashion Hero is amazing! Fashion has always placed people especially women in a box. You have to be this tall, this wight, this type of jaw line. Yet, when the average girl or boy looks in the Morris we don’t look like that. I for one, love that self love and acceptance for all is growing more and more. It’s time for us all to know and feel that we are amazingly beautiful no matter our height, weight, etc! Plus it’s a healthy competition, you don’t allow any gaming or negativity. Just feel good t.v.

I believe I would be great role model because I’m open, honest, and loving. I’ve survied attempted suicide. I know what it feels like to feel that you’re not worth anything. That you’re a mistake and how true love is born from the inside out! Now it’s my mission in life to make sure everyone know that they are worthy and are needed and it’s our collective uniqueness that makes us amazing! If I get the opportunity to be on this show I will be my goody, full of life self and continue to show that depression is not a life sentence! We can control our thoughts and our lives.
