As my niece says, I am a ''world traveller''. It's true. I've travelled to and through almost 50 countries so far and love meeting people from all over the world. I meet them in the streets, park benches, and the hostels I stay at. I love animals and kids and often combine travel to include them. I've always been a square peg in a round hole and I'm hoping that this square peg will be able to show other square pegs, especially those of us considered ''mature'' that we still matter. We're still sexy, we're still relevant, and we are still fashionable!

I was so excited when I learned about this series and saw how you are seeing 'beauty' and worth in ALL TYPES of people, not just those who fit in the societal stereotype of what is considered desirable and even worthy. This is so important to challenge these standards and one of the many reasons is that it may help end bullying.

I've been through the teasing, the bullying and the lack of body confidence and come out the other side. I'd love to talk to those facing the same or similar issues and encourage them and us. We're stronger together!
