Hi my name is Rodney Broughton. I’m 22 year old from Louisville, Kentucky. I’m a Senior in College at Northern Kentucky University, and I’m Majoring in Theatre/Minoring in Communications. Growing up I loved sports. I played basketball and ran track in high school. At a young age I thought sports was what I wanted to do with my life, but sometimes things change. God opened a new door for me and I found my two passions that I am willing to work hard for. Those two things are Acting and Modeling. I used to be a very shy and soft spoken kid, it took an extremely long time for me to come out of my shell. I never believed in myself and deep down I had the confidence, but I rarely brought it out. I prayed and took a leap of faith and started doing both with an agency while living in Missouri. I immediately fell in love with it and I saw a side of myself I never knew I had. I started believing in myself, the confidence was rising and I just felt better. I know I can make it big and have a career in both and I truly mean and believe it. I’ve been rejected, invisible and counted out my whole life. I just want to get my face out there and show people what Rodney can do.

So far I love it! I really appreciate what you guys are doing, and I most definitely want to be apart of everything you guys are doing.

I'd be a great role model for this generation because of how much modeling means to me, along with how serious I take it. I couldn't picture myself doing anything else, at one point I was so focused on sports growing up I was blind to see that God had opened another door for me. I fell in love with modeling at a young age. I believe in my skills 100%, and I just want to continue to grow and get better. I'm willing to put in the work. I believe I can be a role model for the youth and even inspire people my age. There's lots of dream killers out there and doubters, all my life I was doubted, invisible to people, counted out, etc. I want to be the light for people and show them that you are someone and no dream is too big to where you can't accomplish it.
