I am a 26 years old young woman, currently a final year UKZN student. I run a home based boutique, selling sunglasses and bags. I’m also an independent distributor selling perfumes and skincare products and also a clothing brand ambassador. I’ve always been fascinated about fashion from a young age, and I remember very well when I wanted to be a fashion designer and I spoke to my mom and sister about it, I 18 when I wanted to go to the school of fashion but they both said I should choose another career and they get a degree first. This meant they didn’t believe in me. But now I want to change all that and prove I can be something big through the fashion industry.

For me the Fashion hero tv series would be something more talking about fashion shows, the designers show casing their collection, more of a story line with fashion shows.

Firstly I believe I have what it takes to be the face of the fashion hero, and I’ll be a great inspiration to the current generation with my story, as I’ll be giving them hope about the fashion industry that it is never too late to achieve more in the fashion industry and there is more in the fashion industry than being just a fashion designer.
