Hello everyone! My name is Katie Berg and I am a Multimedia Actress. So, that means I am a broadcast journalist who edits my own videos and I act! Creating content that is impactful and helps someone else through a dark time is what I am all about. I try to make a difference every day by being a light instead of a well in this world.

I think The Fashion Hero TV series is such an incredible show. I love the fact that it uses everyday people. It is so much easier to relate to people who aren’t picture perfect. There has always been this unrealistic expectation of beauty and I’m definitely over it. I think scars are what make us beautiful. Messiness makes us beautiful... authenticity is what makes people beautiful. I thank The Fashion Hero for allowing those ludicrous standards to be lifted.

I would be a great role model for this generation because I inspire people through my positivity and persistent attitude. I know that humans are not perfect, and I am far from it. But, what I am trying to do is show people that even though you messed up on your diet, or you went back to smoking/drinking, you can come back from it. Life is about making mistakes, and I am the queen of that. But, as long as you continue to persevere and learn from those mishaps, you are doing the best. I encourage people to not be so hard on themselves. This world is already hard on us... we all deserve to be kind to ourselves.
