From outside I am a very simple girl with a simple life . I am a student who is academically smart but also an actress . I have always been a creative person , always searching for ways to express myself . I create content for Instagram including beauty , vines and fashion . All I know is facing a camera is the most known and comfortable feeling to me . Also as a 20 year old I won’t be arrogant enough to say that I know everything about myself just yet ,but I aware that I have started loving everything about who I am including the things I can’t change , For the things I can , change and evolution is the only option.
The idea of inclusivity is still new to the Fashion industry. And here is The Fashion hero not only defining every odd but also providing a global opportunity. Never would have a simple girl from India ever thought to be on the global stage with major brands , but now she can - thanks to this great initiative. So for me The Fashion hero represents everything good about the industry - inclusivity, global reach , opportunities and a sense of growth.
Every single person has a story and that one quality that makes them different . Mine is self awareness . I have been bullied by my closest friends into mental trauma about the way I look . Needless to say it was a whole journey to finally accept my body the way it is and stop being controlled my impractical ideas of beauty . Through out this journey I have become more self aware and attentive. I think I will be a great role model because I have finally started loving and accepting myself and this generation needs that . I try to influence people online about body positivity and mental health so I am not new to the idea . Being the face of The Fashion Hero provides me with a platform to share my views loud and clear .
