I’m 16 years old and I live in Boston, Massachusetts. My main goal as of now is to keep my grades up so I can get into Umass Amherst.

In college I want to major In Archeology and Minor in Religious Studies. One day I would love to discover the undiscovered around the world!

As a child, my parents were poor. We lived in my grandfather’s basement at the time because a shelter was no place for my sister and I at our age. So, all of the clothes given to me were in very poor condition, and my face wasn’t always looking ‘on point’ including my hair, which was always a mess and looking like a rats nest. At school I always would get bullied, no matter what the circumstances were. People at that age didn’t care whether you were rich or poor if you didn’t look good or fit in it was a living hell for you. The point being, I want to make a difference... to show that even when you are poor, you can still look good and be your best. It shouldn’t matter where you come from, it matters what step you do to make that change. And I want to be that push that helps people make that step, whatever it may take.
