I think Fashion Heroes is an incredible platform to not only expose cultures to learn collaboratively but showcase the passions that dwell within everyone through expression of design: Our art. Viewers are able to see and feel the desires that the contestants are experiencing, which is inspirational to achieve their own desires and dreams. Season 1 and 2 did that for me, like wow! International exposure and an opportunity to learn more in this craft is beautiful with everyday people that have a dream and a needle.

What makes me a great role model is that my energy is motivating. I come from a rural area, where complacency is accepted, and wishes are only wishes for most that are lived through media or others. Many do not break the mold to “try” to experience what their senses notice in reality. I have always had tenacity from my adolescents to be a habitual line-stepper with reason to experience what I felt I deserved. I have carried that curiosity with me, which has placed me in pivotal roles in life. Even in a lesson, I am glass half-full kind of lady. Anything is possible if you only believe: Magic truly does exist!
