QUI SUIS-JE ?

I am unconventional at my core — I didn’t follow the traditional college path expected (instead of jetted off to NYC and was a male nanny); I got married at an early age (21!) and have 3 incredible dogs that are a legitimate obsession of mine (a true dog dad at heart). I live for a good concert, a glass of wine, and trying new foods. Overall, I am a guy who grew up in a southern Baptist upbringing that originally made me feel shame of my sexuality and disdain for myself physically, feeling I had to be perfect in every way, but with time, support, and therapy any along the way I have created a life I am proud of.

QU’EST-CE QUE JE PENSE DE LA SÉRIE TÉLÉVISÉE THE FASHION HERO?

I think the series is a brilliant idea, because it takes away the unrealistic standards society has expected of everyone and peels back the layers to show we are all unique, beautiful, and special in our own ways (which is truly more relatable to people than the perfection we see in today’s media).

POURQUOI VOULEZ VOUS ÊTRE LE MODÈLE DE CETTE GENERATION ET INSPIRER PLUSIEURS GENS EN ÉTANT LE NOUVEAU VISAGE DE THE FASHION HERO ?

I think I would be a great role model, because I am a male who has experienced an eating disorder and through therapy, support from friends and family, and growth I confidence I have learned how to be happy in my skin. It’s very rare for men to admit when they struggle with an eating disorders, because of this stigma that men have to be strong and confident in their bodies. It is however more common than many may think. I think I could have the potential to be someone to say hey I’ve struggled with this to, but I am healthier now and you can be to with the right resources and support.
