My definition of beauty is being raw. Being yourself and who you were created to be. Not one person can define beauty because it lies within us. How could you begin to define the worlds beauty when you dont know everything it has to offer? All you can do is see what you open up your mind to seeing. Once you become more accepting of those different from you, you can enjoy the beauty they bring into the world as well.

I am a junior soon to be senior at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale (SIUC). I am triple majoring in speech communications: interpersonal, intercultural and persuasive speech. I am also the Vice President and Captain of the women's rugby team at SIU-C. My dream is to help others by being a voice for the little people who dont, and change the world. Yes, I said the world. I can not believe I came across opprotunity and have been given the chance to show others what I am made of. I used to take modeling and actoing classes as a child until I cut all my hair off. From then on no one wanted to give me an opprotunity because i didnt fit the long hair feminine profile they were looking for. My dream after college was to move to California and get my dream of becoming that voice in the world, Hollywood. If given this opprotunity I know I can get messages out to people that normally would never listen, those in Hollywood. If you cant reach them become them. I have always strived for success and will not stop till I earn it. With everything that has happened in my life, from comming out as lesbian and getting kicked out to realizing I am actually transgender female to male, too afraid to tell anyone because I know I will lose my family. But this show would give me a chance to show the world that transgender people are BEAUTIFUL. We are people! Equality in every industry is what I strive for. If voted for know equality for everyone is my mission.

Photography, any sport: rugby, basketball, soccer, football, track (I'm really fast), helping others in anyway because when I'm in need I hope and pray someone helps me, being an inspirational voice and mentor to others.
