I am Melody Lund s Filipina living in Sweden. I have 3 wonderful kids. I am currently in the processes of divorce. I have suffered severe depression and facing a lot of judgement both from myself and others. I always want to be a model when I was little. But the definition of model was stereotype for me. I always try instead to be a role model for my kids. Eventhough I am currently suffering from depression I want them to see that I will not let it slow me down or eat me alive instead I am battling it every single time to win it. Better myself in every aspects I know.
This series allows other definition of beauty be seen. That modeling and being the face of a brand is not just a stereotype for all small, long, hourglass shaped body.
I guess my experience will allow me to show the world and all that have been suffering depression that it is ok. There is hope and the battle is normal and can get through. It is ok to go through it step by step and slowly. And winning the battle is always a great achievement to yourself.
