QUI SUIS-JE ?

I am 41 year old single mom to a teenage boy whom I love dearly. A caring sister and true friend. Born and raised in a township called Ga-Rankuwa located in the capital city of South Africa called Pretoria now known as Tshwane. I love the creative space. I'm in a process of applying at Tshwane University Of Technology to study a 3 year diploma course in Fashion Design. I'm fun to be around, open to new opportunities and challenges, passionate about people, life and education.

QU’EST-CE QUE JE PENSE DE LA SÉRIE TÉLÉVISÉE THE FASHION HERO?

I didn't know about the series up until I saw it for the very first time on ETV this year (2022). I enjoy the show and I'm happy that the show is giving a great opportunity and chance to ordinary people like myself to conquer their fears and be who they truly are. I love the show❣️❣️

POURQUOI VOULEZ VOUS ÊTRE LE MODÈLE DE CETTE GENERATION ET INSPIRER PLUSIEURS GENS EN ÉTANT LE NOUVEAU VISAGE DE THE FASHION HERO ?

They say life begins at 40 but when you feel your life is not where you want it to be and you haven't achieved much and you turn 40 you start doubting yourself and want to rewind time. Turning 40 in 2020 was a big milestone for me. After divorcing being married for only 2 and a half years it was devastating. It's been a 5 year journey to work on myself to find healing and be strong for our son who was also affect badly by the divorce. I had to remind myself of who I am, my abilities, capabilities and that I am a work in progress . Growing-up being dark skinned people say hurtful things and you are not seen as beautiful and sadly that stigma still exists today in the world. Like many young girls I suffered from anxiety, depression and had low self-esteem. I'm grateful for my late mom who passed away from cancer in 2012 who affirmed me to see my inner beauty first and embrace it with the external. I'll be a great role model for this generation as the adversities I have gone through in my life have shaped me to have perseverance , trust myself more and gained will power . I will inspire young girls and women to know that no matter our circumstances, age and race etc, we can achieve the goals we set for ourselves. My goal is to go back to school and further my studies in Fashion Design which I'm passionate about and start my own business, create work opportunities and skill the youth of South Africa to reduce the high unemployment rate and give them hope for a better tomorrow as the future generations. Going to University will be a DREAM COME TRUE for me after 15 years of trying and never giving up. I'm doing this for myself, my late mom and son. 🙏🙌🙌🙌 Thank you. Sincerely yours Motolong Winnie Bembe
