I am a proud Sesotho young lady who is also a feminist and strongly passionate about activism, questioning the law, breaking down the patriarchy and fighting for equality in all ways and forms. I have always been interested in the media and I have now decided to take it further and build on that passion and interest. I am constantly willing to better myself, to be educated (in the real world) and to work my dreams, future and aspirations as well as polish my talents. I am a strong black determined beautiful young lady who will not rest until I achieve all that I wish to.
I think that a new kind of beauty is an amazing way to help inspire people and show all sorts of different people that beauty isn’t defined by societies standards of beauty or how someone views you but that beauty lies within each and every one of us.
I had insecurities from a very young age as I was bullied for being Sesotho as well as my body type and criticised by family due to my body. I then installed instagram which caused more damage as I would constantly compare myself with nearly everyone I saw on these app. I have learnt to love and accept myself for who I am and for the way I am. I have become extremely confident as I should be. I would be a great role model because I know how hard it is to be a teenager with the insane expectations of society, I have gone through pain, tears, eating disorders and anxiety and still learnt to love myself.
