I am Peyton! Bubbly, friendly, full of life. I want to spread happiness in the world, I want to make a difference. I am ambitious, determined, and I have a drive and motivation for success! Currently, I am starting a brand with my best friend of silk haircare products with the goal of bringing awareness and business to other women owned companies, as well as empowering all people to take care of themselves and their hair. I adore self care and found this love in the fashion and beauty industry. I am great at putting amazing outfits together for anyone, even out of the smallest closets. My love for self care runs deep, I also wish to spread awareness about self care and the things we could all be doing better for our bodies, as well as the environment.

This is incredible! The Fashion Hero TV Series is bringing awareness to the inequalities placed upon women and their bodies, the stereotypes it can embody. It often enforces gender roles as well and the opening up of the fashion world in this way to all bodies is a beautiful and impressive thing. This TV series is much needed and as someone who’s struggles with these stereotypes everyday, I am so happy and grateful for this opportunity to even be remotely in reach to people who don’t fit the mold.

Bullying touches a lot of people, and that makes it hard for a lot of people to enter the fashion world. Bullying in itself often comes from stereotyping people or expecting something from them because of the ‘norm.’ “Your butt looks small in that ,” “you look fat in that,” that’s too big for you,” your hair looks horrible like that.” I have experienced all these things and am still in the process of overcoming it, but I’m doing it. I’m expressing myself today in ways I didn’t think I could a year ago, or 2 or 3. Through self care and learning to love myself I have become more comfortable and confident in my body, and in turn what I put on it and how I choose to express myself. I would inspire people through my own step by painful, loving, step journey to become who I am today and embrace myself fully.
