Hello! My name is Sara, I’m 23 and currently living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In 2015, at the age of 18 I had found that I had less than a week to have my right leg amputated due to an aggressive bone tumour. I underwent 32 rounds of chemotherapy and have also had 2 more surgery’s in my lungs as it has spread. Right now I am a student and a local amputee model.

I’d love to be an icon or role model for other people with disabilities or inner conflicts they have with themselves to be brave and face the world as they are. I’d love to make more of a change in the beauty standards we have today as most of them are highly unachievable.

I feel with me being different on the outside can show the world that it’s okay to have your own personal look and to rock it however you want. If we all looked the same I’m sure we’d get tired of looking at each other.
