Hi , I am a 52 year old women who has lived through and overcame the social stigmas of addiction ( was found dead and brought back), physical and mental abuse and personal family tragedies.(Mom and dad both hospitalized at the same time.)that would crush some people. In spite of this all I love life and live each day to the fullest, I know anyone can do anything. Look at me I went from corporate department manager to an addiction brought on by my feelings of inadequacy, that I wasn't skinny enough, pretty enough or even in the same league as the beautiful people...Who I am is so many things. My scars, tattoos and wrinkles are all testimony to the things I have endured.I am a mix of traditional values, forward thinking,a support system, friend, wife, anything anyone wants or just that shoulder to cry on. I AM an eclectic, one of a kind. I am a survivor and love new and exciting challenges; age is just a number. I feel I will be a great ambassador for The Fashion Hero brand.

What appealed to me was that you actually are what you prompted it to be. I like the brutal honesty of the coaches and watching people grow, transform and expand. I love the fact that somebody is representing the real people of the world, not only in fashion but on important international social issues that affect everyone. I feel it's about time for this to happen.

I would be a great role model for this generation and all generations because I have the tools to to convey The New Kind of Beautiful belief that everyone has the inner beauty to let your outer beauty shine. I will be able to give valuable advice and and promote the fashion and beauty industry.I view unfolding events not as problems or set backs but as another variable that must be over come. I wish to change the thinking that older people can still be fashion current and a strong example of PURSUEING YOUR DREAMS!!!!
