मैं कौन हूँ?

My name is Chanelle Fellinger. I'm a born South African & half Austrian, however I am a mix race of at least 7 different nationalities from around the globe. I recently left my amazing country behind, to start a new life in sunny Portugal. I'm an entrepreneur, recently owned a catering company with 2 mobile food trucks and managed teams of up to 16 staff members at a time. After covid hit, I sold it all and gave myself a shot at recreating myself. I am now soon to be, a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and I could never be happier knowing that I've found the ultimate fulfilling career, one that is just AWESOME as a whole. I wanted to work for myself and on my own terms!!! I wanted to find a new career where I can simultaneously continue to improve on a career as a commercial model, actress and vocalist. Its an ever long learning journey.

द फ़ैशन हीरो टीवी सीरीज़ के बारे में मेरा क्या विचार है?

I absolutely love the fact that this show and the modeling industry is opening up opportunities to people who are not your standard "Model" profile. The beauty standards that have been perceived to be the ideal model candidate, has really caused a ripple effect in the self esteem of those who are different. We're definitely swaying away from that trend but the  damage is evident. I personally felt the effects of it, I had my own personal negative self talk which thankfully I outgrew, especially due to the fact that people saw something different. Every time I got a compliment from people, I was ever so grateful for the fact that they took the time to let me know that, because I really needed it and it changed my life, one comment at a time. I would sometimes google "what features makes someone beautiful." Just by having a show like this it opens up peoples minds for future generations to step outta the norm and see beyond the image of beauty that the world has always painted. By now, we all know that this is the way the world is heading. Things are changing but we need it to become the NEW NORM, the new standard. Now days, things like being a commercial model is the way to go for girls like me... real normal people just being our stunning selves. However I believe with show's like this, it'll inspire the catwalk and fashion industry to make it more and more possible for women and men that are uniquely different, to be able to compete/participate. Mel B is the perfect representative that we can all relate too.

मैं इस पीढ़ी के लिए एक महान रोल मॉडल कैसे बन सकता/सकती हूँ और द फ़ैशन हीरो का नया चेहरा बन कर लोगों को कैसे प्रेरित कर सकता/सकती हूँ?

Being a mix race, (to be exact Koi San, Spanish, English, Indian, Austrian, Jewish & Czechoslovakian...) I just didn't fully fit into any ethnic group, I'm not Colored (Koi San) enough, not Indian enough, not Spanish enough, not Austrian enough etc etc etc you get were I'm going with that... Yet at the same time, I just about fitted in everywhere, I was able to shape shift and be anyone, go anywhere and get accepted everywhere. I was able to see how we're all just people and regardless of our differences, we actually have more thats similar than not. Every ethnicity has a general stereo type but I want to encourage the world to actually stop and start looking at our similarities instead. We're all so caught up in, our flesh exterior body image. As human beings, there's so much more to us than that, there's so much more to be judged upon, over and above all that. When I was much younger, around 16 or so, I would speak to car guards or people that I saw really had nothing, those people that people wouldn't even give a second of their time, I knew that they were people, just like me and they had stories, incredible stories and I wanted to listen to them and give them the time of day & show them that I cared. One of the guys that I happened to speak to told me an amazing story about how he met a guy and he was also homeless, turns out this guy was an incredibly knowledgeable, heartfelt soul, he was a lawyer in he's 50's and just lost everything and had been homeless for the last 8months. He said, he's never learnt more from anyone and he's honored to have became this guys friend. He said, you would have no idea at first sight, that this may be the case. He encouraged me to never judge a book by its cover because it could be the most deceiving thing. I'll never forget him and it changed my life forever. I recently learned so much about mental health and how the mind works, it's fascinating. I have so many secrets to share with the world. Certain things we experience does not have to be the way they are. If people just know that they did have control because our mind is so powerful. For all those girls out there who keep giving themselves negative self talk, I want to encourage them to just simply change their dialogue. Against all odds, if you have the utmost belief that you can, then you will. First you change your thoughts and then you become, not the other way around. You dont first become and then start changing your thoughts to align with that. Faith isn't necessarily just a religious term, its something that we should all hold onto. When we really want something, ask for it and then have the utmost faith that it'll happen for you when its your time... obviously don't forget to put in your blood sweat and tears, if you want it bad enough, that'll automatically happen as a result. We have to become SUPER HUMAN in our mindset. I CAN, I WILL, I AM... we all possess this power, we just need to own it!!!!!!
