I've had my own personal struggles of finding beauty in myself and its taken me a lot of time to get confident in saying that I am beautiful in many different ways. Beauty is confidence, embracing that who you are and what you look like is perfect! Beauty is seeing someone love who they are and walking with their head held high. Beauty is internal and external, having a heart that shines as bright as the smile on your face! Society has created an image of what Beauty "looks" like but there are so many assets to us as humans that makes each and every one of us beautiful in our own ways!

I am a 25 year old dancer and performer from Vancouver B.C. I grew up with my mom in a small farm town. At 17 I left the small town to move to the city with high hopes and dreams of becoming a professional dancer. I was never the fit perfect dancer and I was always the one in the back and I knew that moving to the city would mean a lot of work! Even though I was told that I would never make a career in the dance world perseverance and my love for the arts was the only thing that kept me going with my head held high. I fought hard and obviously heard a lot of no's but I eventually booked my first professional job in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic opening ceremonies. From that day on, performing for fifty thousand people and millions around the world I've never looked back. I've worked on cruise ships and seen the world and performed for some incredible artists! I now currently teach at Harbour Dance Centre in the heart of the city and I specialize in teaching sexy street jazz to emerging artists who just need that extra push of confidence. At 25 years old can finally say that I am living 100% as me and I am so blessed and happy to be able to share that with other artists.

Obviously dance and the arts is a passion for me but I also love Costume design and fashion as well. I love to travel and I don't like to keep my feet in the same spot for too long. My favorite city is London, it's full of an incredible arts scene and culture. I try and get there a few times a year for some inspiration. As I said I grew up on a farm so I still enjoy going back and jumping on a horse every once and a while! And of course I love food, I'm a huge fan of sushi and Japanese food and I love trying out new restaurants in the city!
