I am Dil Divine, your friendly, neighborhood Queer Oracle, Muse, and Spirit Guide here to embrace the abundance, freedom, and joy my Soul is made for, and to help others unlock that for themselves as well. Sharing silliness and joy, paired with spiritual empowerment, is what I live for, and I do my best to co-create nurturing spaces for others to do the same.
“A New Kind of Beautiful” is providing a fun and fresh take on a reality TV program in that it leverages intentional and joyful diversity & inclusion, mentorship, and personal transformation with elements of competition, challenges beyond the Comfort Zone, and vulnerability that folks love to experience when watching a show. I believe this approach will allow viewers and participants alike to feel more inspired and empowered to step further into their authentic Truth and courageously express it. Additionally, I am excited to experience a collaborative project where we will be using our authentic Truths and stories to demonstrate in real-time how valuable it is to do so for the sake our world’s growth, empathy, and transformation. With such a diverse cast, viewers will have a plethora of testimonies to resonate with and witness how folks like them can breakthrough into the entertainment and fashion industries without having to sacrifice their realness in the process. If anything, we are going to be championing authenticity and how rewarding it is to embrace the Truth of one’s self and dreams.
From the time I was small, I felt an absence of friendly Queerdos like me, both in media and locally, being their authentic selves and expressing joy. I longed for folks who could provide a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy space for me to share questions about life; be asked for insight without being commanded on what to do; and share healing laughter with so that the seriousness of life didn’t blind from the joy too long. By participating in “A New Kind of Beautiful,” I fill that void and contribute to the enlightening joy those on the fringe deserve and need right now. I embrace choosing Courage over fear when it comes vulnerability and challenges, honor my Virtues & Values without putting them above those of others, and thrive as a Collaborator & Co-Creator which means that I’ll naturally amp up the high vibrations and positive outcomes our cast and crew put out into the world. This dancing harmony between honoring oneself and nourishing the Collective is a relationship worth modeling and uplifting for this generation and beyond, and I am excited to do so with all the compassion, play, and vulnerability it requires.
