Hiya!! My name is Dronsie and I'm a sophomore in college with the intent to go to law school. I am not conventionally attractive model-wise and I have struggled with weight/body issues since I was 8 years old. I am not "fat," but I am not skinny either, and this category of body size isn't represented in the media or in fashion at all, making it hard to find clothes that fit me or feel a sense of contentment with my figure. I'm passionate about sustainability in the fashion industry. Fashion produces the most waste per year second only to the oil industry. I care deeply about the Earth and finding ways to reduce waste and hold corporations accountable for the waste they produce as well as how they treat their garment workers in third-world nations. My dream is to completely revolutionize the fashion industry by banding together with millions of other instagram influencers & users to demand change and accountability.

Being the next Fashion Hero would help me shed light on the darker aspects of the fashion industry, such as its environmental effects, ethical dilemmas, and self-esteem issues that come along with the quickly-changing trends. As the next Fashion Hero, I would also be able to show little girls who aren't skinny enough but also aren't fat enough that having a body that fits into different sizes at different times is okay and that we're amazing.
