Who am I? I am Natasha. The daughter of two immigrants that came to America to search for a better life. Through the struggles of being the oldest of five and trying to find my own identity, life wasn’t always peaches and cream. I struggled with my sexuality, spirituality and just simply finding a name to call my own in this world. As I got older, I started to except my flaws and my mistakes and used them for strengths instead. Getting out of a toxic relationship stirred me into a path of self love and stepping into a world of bliss. I am still learning a lot and I’m no where close to where I want to be yet but I’ve come such a long way. I am so grateful for the lessons I’ve learned through out the way. Most importantly I’m so proud of myself for never giving up and continuing to thrive regardless of the situation at hand.

When I first heard about The Fashion Hero TV Seriers I was so excited because they believed in what I believe in. I’m so happy that people are now seeing you can be beautiful in your own skin regardless of what society says. That took me some time to realize and I am still working on it. Seeing other people come out of their own shell helped me to come out of mines. I am grateful for people like that and this series will help put a light on that.

As the new face of The Fashion Hero, I would be a great role model for this generation because I am being myself. With my insecurities and all. We are not perfect but we are perfect just the way we are. We should love that about ourselves regardless of what anyone says. I will be that person to stand in the gap to always be unapologetically me. I am always learning to be better. Through my journey, other people with be inspired to do the same.
