I am 20 yrs old born and raised in NYC. My passion is writing and directing, and especially focusing my work on unveiling the toxicity around Eurocentric beauty standards and beauty standards in general. That said, I still have a big interest in fashion, makeup, design, all things beauty related - I believe that it is possible for everyone to unlock their inner and outer beauty to be their best selves. I'm currently attending college as well as working on my first big film project.
The Fashion Hero TV series is a breath of fresh air because it focuses on giving people who wouldn't typically have a chance in the industry an equal footing.
I think I would be a great role model because I represent an combo of identities which aren't common in today's media - I am darkskinned, Afro-Latina, have afro-centric features, and from an immigrant background. I believe I can be the face of many young girls and femmes who are looking for positive representation in the media.
