My name is Laura Rivera, I am a 21 years Puerto Rican girl. I am currently studying Journalism. I am a kind, adventurous and resilient woman.

I love the concept of the show since the fashion industry is usually so restrictive and this competition is a way of leaving prejudice aside and giving all humans a chance to be successful.

I consider myself to be a role model because no matter how many times I have been told that I am fat for this industry ( just because I have curves) I always followed my dream and never gave up. I want to be an example that we can achieve what we set out to do if we are willing to fight for it. Also, I want to encourage the combination of beauty and brain.
