I think the fashion hero series is a brilliant idea and a step forward in the right direction for tv. Despite the familiar beauty standards looming over us, fashion hero is persevering and showing the true beauty that's within everyone. its time we broke the traditional and started featuring real people so everyone can learn to love themselves.

I have never been the beauty standards that I am faced with everyday. I have struggled all my life with bullying and self hatred simply for the body I was born into. its taken me years to start my journey of self love and respect, and I think everyone deserves to go on this journey as well. I want to help show people there is no ugly, only different. and its ok to be different. its ok to stand out. the way we look has been passed down for years by our ancestors, and has been diversified by our cultures, and it is that very diversity that makes everyone so uniquely beautiful. no one should resent themselves for being unique <3
