My name is Monique Renee Bean and I am 29 years old. Not only have I been a diabetic since I was 8 years old, but I am a miracle walking. I am in the Medical book of world records (my case number) for being the only survivor of Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) Syndrome at that time. I have been cured for 20 years, far past the %29 of children who may live five years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Communications Studies and I am currently a Permanency Specialist finalizing adoptions for foster children. I love all things fashion, music and helping others. It's a great way to express and encourage myself, helping myself by helping others. I love smiling and making others smile.
