I am a 16 year old girl that lives in Hermosa beach, CA. I go to Mira Costa high school and play volleyball and track! I would considering myself super bold and never hold back my opinion. I would consider myself funny with a very dry sense of humor and I am always laughing. I also have a huge fear of the ocean! Prior to this I have been the lead of a pilot TV show that was for Disney XD, called Adopt A Monster. The show was not broadcast and I am excited to have a new opportunity to show my personality!
I love the series! I think it is great that they are promoting all body images and not just the stereotypical “model look”. I have always watched model shows and all reality tv shows, but this is by far one of my favorites.
As an African American female athlete I know that I am not your average model looking girl but I know I am beautiful and I am confident in who I am. Growing up in the community I did, I was surrounded in a neighborhood that was primarily white, with that I faced body image issues and always wanted to look like the other girls I was surrounded with. As I grew older, I now understand that I need to be confident in my own skin and I want to spread that message! I want to inspire young African American girls to be proud of the skin they live in and embrace who they are. As a face that could represent fashion hero I want to spread awareness on the the BLM movement and making sure that minorities feel included.
