I live in a small suburban city in Washington State called Federal Way. I am about 1,000 miles from the glitz of LA, & about 3,000 miles from the glamour of NYC. Just because I live in a small town, does not mean my dreams are small and contained. My name is Brittani, and I have dreams that go beyond the moon! I am half African-American, 1/4 Japanese, and 1/4 Native American. It took me awhile to really be proud of who I am. I felt as if I had a slight sense of identity crisis because of being mixed with so many different races. But, I have learned to come to love every bit of myself, and I am very cultured. In fact, I am majoring in Ethnic, Gender, and Labor Studies at my university. ********************My mother used to model when she was younger, as well as her mother. My grandmother was once a JET Beauty in JET Magazine. My mother and my grandmother are some of my biggest inspirations, and I have always wanted to model and follow in their footsteps when it comes to modeling. ********************I feel as if I represent the population of young women in their 20s. Being 22 and educated, I know that life is a mixture of work & play, but who says you can't look beautiful while doing them both? :) I have been trying to get my modeling career started, & there is no better place to start then signing up through The Fashion Hero! I am so grateful for this site and opportunity, to be able to finally get myself out there and start my modeling career. Signing up through The Fashion Hero makes me feel more confident, and shows that accomplishing my goals and dreams are closer then I may think. I have never modeled before, but inexperience won't bring me down! My confidence and determination is my motivation to strive for achieving my goals. When you let your inner beauty shine through, nothing is impossible. And yes, I am a brace-face, but not for long! I love my braces! I consider them as an accessory--a piece of jewelry!
