I believe being beautiful means that you are comfortable in your own skin. You are beautiful if you are willing to dress or act how you want and not care what others think about you. For someone to be beautiful it means you are unique in your own way! Being beautiful is on the inside not on the outside and there is NO ONE in the world that isn’t beautiful in his or her own way.

My name is Taylor and I am 19 years young. I am your reigning Miss Nebraska Teen United States 2014 and I placed 2nd runner up at Miss Teen United States. I have been doing pageants for the past 4 years but Miss Teen United States was my first National pageant. In the past I have modeled for local photographers but was always told I was never skinny enough to be a model. When I was in high school I was bullied so badly that my sophomore year I transferred to a different school because I couldn’t continue hearing “Your fat” “You are so ugly no one likes you” and some comments too horrible to even share. I would love this opportunity to show all of the horrible people who told me “You will never be good enough” or “You are too fat to ever be model” that you don’t have to starve yourself to be one. I am currently a student at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, home of the Huskers, where I am currently studying to achieve my bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
