Hey, my name is Bunono Maseti, an African girl from South Africa. Born and raised in the small city of Port Elizabeth. I’m of the Xhosa ethnicity and I enjoy the diversity of my country. I’m an avid reader - favourite author being J.K Rowling - and I love playing hockey.

I love acting and performing on stage. It’s the one place where I can comfortably become alive and live within the vessel of the character and portray the character’s truth, wearing the mask to unmask the characters thoughts, decisions and circumstances. I love poetry. My dream is to be the best that I can be, using all resources available to, creating my purpose and making my life happy.

I can make a difference by definitely showing the world that being dark and curvy as a young woman is beautiful. I’ve always wanted to become a model and I believe that with my height of 1.57m I can inspire more to not be afraid and to take the chance of becoming absolutely anything you want to be. I want to put South Africa on the map as being internationally recognized without having to change being African, to keep my accent and heritage.
