Who am I?

Hello!, My name is Holly Potter (and yes, I am related to Harry Potter, he told me to send "greetings" from Hogwarts XD ). I'm 24 years old and I'm from a small town in southern Oregon, USA called Klamath Falls, however, currently I am living in Thailand as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor. To be specific about my career, I teach my students conversational English. I'm a major art, fashion, tattoo, travel & animal lover who seeks to find the beauty in everyone, everything and every place! I'm a major opportunity chaser so if you give me a chance to do something I won't hesitate to do it! I love getting to know people, although I can be shy to begin with.

What do I think about the Fashion Hero TV Series?

When I heard about The Fashion Hero TV Series I thought it was an amazing idea that more people should be aware of! It's amazing that ordinary people are given the chance to shine by showing their true colors and also get to use those colors to inspire people around the world to follow their dreams. The inclusivity, the challenges, the personalities, the lessons that people learn and the talent that this show brings out in its contestants is truly aw-inspiring.

Why would I be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of the Fashion Hero?

I believe that I would be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of The Fashion Hero because I do what I can to prove to those around me that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. From being the weird, quiet girl that constantly got teased in school for being shy and for never wearing makeup, who couldn't stand up for herself and felt she'd never go anywhere and never amount to anything, to becoming an outgoing ESL instructor and study abroad student across the world, I've proven that change is possible and that everyone DOES amount to something. I spread this truth by getting people to realize their own potential by being supportive and encouraging to everyone. One thing that people should know about themselves is that they are beautiful just the way they are. In a world that capitalizes off of women's need to feel beautiful by wearing tons of makeup, I like to show people that being bare-faced is OK by going day by day without it. I also enjoy proving to people that having tattoos shouldn't be a basis of judgement on whether someone is worthy of a job or not making it clear that if I don't want to hide them, then I won't and despite popular belief, many people find them cool rather than disgusting or shameful. Whether you're inked or not, whether you can speak another language well or not, whether you're skinny, fat, tall or short, you are you and that's the best thing about you, what's even better is that if you want to improve and learn, there is plenty of opportunities for everyone to do it and there's always going to be someone there to support you.
