Ever since my first day of kindergarten when my parents sent me off to school in a three-piece suit, I have been JoeyyFresh. I was the best dressed 5-year-old you would ever meet. Since then, I have just leaned into it. I am a DJ and a Licensed Realtor. I have a dual Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and African-American Studies, along with a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. Most proudly, I am a Coordinator for a nonprofit organization working to end hunger and feed the food insecure. Feeding the hungry and spreading awareness to eliminate hunger is my passion.
It is a beautiful chance to show the world that beauty is fluid and defined from within. The inner confidence that will come as a result is forever life changing.
Inspiration can be found in the least likely of places. All you have to do is be open, ready, and receptive. My life motto is: "When everybody is watching, dance like nobody is watching." I very much believe in Kharma. So much so, that I have it tattooed on my chest. I believe that if a person's mission is to put good into the world, then good things will happen for that person. We have to listen and follow our guiding light that is within. The hardest thing to do is to accept that it is okay to be vulnerable and be our own true authentic selves.
