Who am I?

Hi my names Keleesta The Fashionista and I am a aspiring actress and model/diva/public figure, I am always working on myself and my appearance and believe fashion has truly helped change my life and save me! I am originally from El barrio nuevo, Naranjito, Puertorico, but have been living in, Massachusetts the majority of my life, I am a trans, I’m 23, I believe I am going to help revolutionize the fashion industry 💋 I want to inspire people who come from difficult situations to live there dreams, love themselves and be happy! A little about me,Growing up was difficult for me my mom was a single mom. My mom an my 2 little brothers an aunt support me but a lot of my other family family doesn’t talk to me because I’m transgender. When I was young my family was apart of a Christian cult church that an I ended up having to break away from when I got older because it just was not me at all an there beliefs conflicted with who I felt I was in the inside. I ended up in foster care because I was sexually assaulted by a stranger one night an after that night I started acting out when I was young, I spent a lot of time just trying to survive. I use to have an eating disorder where I would gain and lose weight very quickly , and was a cutter because of the trauma but growing up I was able to finally transition on hormone replacement therapy an become myself and recovered from it. I felt I had truly been set free! The difference between who I was before transition and after transition is shocking and ultimately has made me a much happier and better person today! I’ve been through a lifetime full of pain for someone so young but have always done my best to bring light to some one else’s day and life! I may not necessarily be where I want to be yet but at least I can bring joy to people and help make a difference for generations to come . Anyways It’s not easy being a trans woman in a world that can be quite cruel but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I am learning to embrace the strength, perseverance, an inner beauty that I have developed through those extremely dark moments. I believe that these tragic moments and the hurt and struggle has ultimately made me a better person and built character. It was like discovering strength I didn’t know I had. Fashion has been the one true thing that has helped get me by. I live for fashion! It has helped me break barriers socially and within myself too, it’s been a source of confidence and a outlet that I could feel more like myself. A little about my background I was an extra in a Adam Sandler movie when I was a teen. I also l enjoy dancing and got noticed by lady Gaga an her choreographer dancing for her in the crowd in 2017. I met Hanson coincidentally after there concert in 2018 had them cracking up laughing. Most recently I did my first commercial with Sony to help underrepresented woman become more represented in modern day society.I believe fashion expresses what the heart feels, and that when you look good you feel good. I believe together we can change the impossible beauty standards of the beauty industry. I also am trying to help make the world a better place for trans people by being actively visible! As trans people have been left out of the US 2020 census, and endless attempts to end lgbtq rights have been ongoing, I hope to be a beacon of hope for other people who can relate or feel the same as I do, and are tired of being treated poorly by society for being something out of your control! It’s time for a change and together we can help make that change!

What do I think about the Fashion Hero TV Series?

It is super exciting, I think this its great opportunity to meet new people and get involved that something your passionate about! I really like the concept and idea it’s about time a show came out like this, through the power of fashion, beauty, and technology fashion hero is working to bring about a much needed change. For me personally, I learned from a very young age that true gorgeous beauty lies within the heart ❤️

Why would I be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of the Fashion Hero?

I think that I would be a great role model for this generation and inspire people because I have always carried the values of living life to your truest and be there freest self and inspire others to do the same , in my own transition I have had many ups and downs but always get by and persevere through trials and tribulations with a smile on my face. I think that if I became the new fashion hero transgender people would start becoming more visible and accepted! Also to anyone who has gone through really traumatic life experiences to give people hope that u could be a nobody like me an come from really difficult life and than suddenly have a big break through change following your dreams! ⭐️ Right now statistically In life I have everything working against me to keep holding me down, trans people are still treated very bad, an because I’m trans I’ve had a lot of bad bad things happened to me, I so badly want change for trans people and for them to be treated better way an what better way to do it than by advocacy through national television! I want to be the poster woman for being who feel like outcast, rebels, foster kids, (growing up I was in foster care) had a very hard life, feel alone, I want to inspire an bring hope to people who don’t have much hope because I remember what it felt like when I didn’t and I would never want anyone to feel that way! I think I’d be a great advocate an being about change as we work to promote acceptance of self and promoting self love too! I hope I can be the next fashion hero because I want to help fashion hero change the way the world sees beauty ! I have always been a sweet girl an just want to leave a lasting impression in the world. Truly believe I would be a marvelous inspiration because I want to give hope and be a light in this world since I have conquered things that I didn’t think I’d survive (all the while being a sassy diva the whole time), I really want to show everyone the power of fashion an how it can change people’s lives for the better and ultimately make the world a much happier place, shaping a better future for generations to come and leaving a lasting impression on the earth and on other people! :) #fashionheros from #rejected to #accepted
