About me

Hi, I'm Lisa, a woman with not just a beautiful smile but also a beautiful heart. I'm a family oriented mom, a poetry enthusiast and an aspiring Author. I've had my full share of personal struggles with love and life while simultaneously caring for a child with a rare medical diagnosis. However, I'm grateful for all the storms I've been through as they have made me a more confident, resilient, empathetic and strong individual. I would love this opportunity as I had to put life on hold for eight consecutive years to be a full-time caregiver for my baby boy. I believe that every obstacle and challenge have shaped me into the person that I am today. My life experiences have taught me to be more appreciative and grateful for every little thing in life and to not take things for granted. I champion the cause of self-love , self worth and self-acceptance. I hope to motivate and empower young girls and women to believe in themselves and to be comfortable in their own skin. I believe that every woman should feel beautiful irrespective of her status in life. No one is perfect and we are not immune to life challenges but being comfortable and secure in your own skin is the most beautiful realization ever! I encourage women to know their value and their worth, know what they have to offer and to never settle for less than they deserve.

My dreams and passions

I'm passionate about motivating and empowering others to help them recognize their strengths and maximize their fullest potential. I've always wanted to be an actress but never had the opportunity to do so. Hopefully, one day my dream can still become a reality.

How can I make a difference as the next Fashion Hero?

I believe that my message of self-love, self worth and self-acceptance can reach across the demographics of women who have similar life experiences like myself. Hence, I can be a role model to inspire and uplift them. I can also inspire them to turn their pain into purpose and their struggles into strength. I want to remind women that they are beautiful, special and unique just the way you are. Nothing is impossible! Once you believe, with time, effort and motivation, you can achieve even if it takes a million years!
