Hi! I’m Dashanee, but I prefer to be called Shay. I am a singer/songwriter from Gary, Indiana. I love fashion and setting new standards for trends. I can see myself becoming something huge if given the opportunity. The biggest thing I want to accomplish is to be a role model for other young black American women who had to start from the bottom to achieve everything that they have in life. I want to let people know that it is possible and hopefully with you guys as help I can make that happen.

I think that the opportunity that people will get from being on this TV series will be amazing and reach the world. It is very nice to have people of different diverse standards and not just what you see on social media.

I think I would be a great role model for the generation inspire people space because no matter what, I have so much tenacity to keep going into be successful dealing with multiple health issues, including acne inversa has made me have low self-esteem at multiple points in my life but now it is time for me to take the reins on my own life and show others that you can still be beautiful with the skin disease such as this!
