My name is gypsy ula I am a small town girl from Bundaberg Australia and I have dreamt of being a model or a tv personality my entire life, now I understand a lot of people have said that but I have an inner deep feeling I’m meant for tv. I am great with large crowds, I’m confident but not in a egotistical way and I am also not shy towards the camera. Unfortunately applying for these modelling agencies I was rejected a lot because of my height (5,3ft) they would reply back with you’re beautiful but you don’t meet our height requirements. I don’t understand and never understand how the beauty standard is for only tall women/men beauty is so much more than height and I believe there are so many petite models out there like me who know they can bring it on a runway but don’t have the confidence to apply because we know we may get turned down by our height. Anyway I’m a talker so I tend to blabber on a lot but I will take any opportunity I can get because I refuse to believe me and many others can not make it
I believe this show will be a hit! Because so many people will be able to relate! It’s an issue that is being addressed and fixed and I think that’s a truly amazing opportunity for anyone! Beauty is everywhere and in everyone this show will be perfect for individuals to express themselves
I know I meant to be a role model for people, I have a soul mission and that is to spread love and light! I want to open up peoples minds and give people mental strategies to overcome certain obstacles including being a certain height if you want to be a model! I want woman to not just understand they have the power of beauty but KNOW IT! I have a sharp tongue as I’ve been told in the way I intrigue people when I speak because I speak from the heart directly I’m able to empathise and then create a solution and I want to spread my ways of having a healthy mental state is vital and to not listen to these false beauty standards
