I am Uday Unzaga, I’m 20 years old, I was born in USA, but currently live in Colombia. Also lived for many years in Puerto Rico. My backgrounds are Cuban, Colombian, Spanish and Lebanese. But who am I as a person? Well I’m someone who has always been categorized as smart, I study engineering and I was valedictorian but I’ve always had a love for modeling and arts. Even though I use to be fat and “ugly” for many, even though I was bullied for being myself, I didn’t pay attention to it and I focused on being me, on flourishing and finding happiness within me. Oh, also I’m pansexual but who cares about labels?

I think it’s a super inspiring and fun show which shines light on the underrated beauty of our world!

I would be a great role model for this generation because I speak my mind, I don’t let bullies win, I break gay stereotypes and I come from nothing eager to be something. I want people all over the world, especially latinos and the less fortunates to aspire to be something and always chase what their heart desires because strength and beauty ultimately comes from within .
