I think it's amazing. Growing up I never had someone who looked like me on TV or magazines. I felt so alone and I'm glad there are people out there seeking to change the stigma of beauty.

I want to be a voice for people growing up like I did. Growing up I dealt with bullies, depression, and chronic social anxiety. I want kids to know they aren't alone and there is an amazing world at the end of the tunnel. I want them to know they can be whoever they want to be and that someone gets the pain they are going through. That someone hears them. As a role model I want to show kids that they can be instruments of change in their communities, that they are powerful and strong. That it's possible.
