My name is DaMiya and I am 23 years old, born and raised in Kinston N.C. I graduated in Fall 2018 from North Carolina Central University where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science.

With my love for art and my passion for the latest trends, I knew fashion was my calling from a young age. I’m proud to represent fashionable products that are fresh, original, and timeless. At a young age I desired to become a model. I am currently working on building my portfolio. I’ve had several photo shoots and I’ve also participated in fashion shows including SBFW in New York City. Becoming a professional model is my greatest aspiration. I hope that I can turn my dreams into reality.

I can make a difference as the next fashion hero by being a inspiration to others that may be facing obstacles while trying to accomplish their goals. I will lead by example whether it’s giving guidance on life in general, fashion tips or even being a positive role model to others. I desire to be the “New Face” that fulfills her dreams and also motivate other aspiring individuals.
