מי אני?

A mom, a wannabe model, singer or maybe actress, yet to be discovered. I had the idea to have my modeling agency with the name "Role Models" having the same message behind as your agency.

מה דעתי על תוכנית הטלויזיה "גיבור האופנה"?

I like the concept of the platform that is supporting diversity and is working on changing the world by breaking stereotypes, showing real people stories, those are the ones we can learn from and see that we are not alone. Very good initiative! We need more platforms like this one!

למה אני אהיה מודל לחיקוי לדור הזה ואשמש השראה לאנשים בתור הפנים החדשות של "גיבור האופנה"?

As a child, I was raised as someone that was commented on to have "football" legs (which I perceived as bullying and in a negative sense), my family used to tell me that I have too strong legs and laughing about it, due to this I was not wearing skirt till my age of 21. I became more or less confident only in the last few years when I started to get positive feedbacks on my look and photos. It may sound funny, but indeed it was something that at young age blocked me to approach a modeling agency and try to become a model. As a fashion hero, I would definitely mention how much is important to respect children just the way they are.  Since young ages I wanted to become a singer and a model, yet by personal aspirations were not listened and I was not brave enough to step up for myself. I was raised as a person that surpessed emotions and thoughts. My opinion never counted. At this age I know I cannot blame my parents, it was the way they were threated in their childhood too, however I am still on a path forgiving them everyday. In 2015, after leaving a bad marriage and a multinational world I felt like I was exploited, I started to search for my real, surpressed self.I finally decided to try modeling at the age of 37, I have arranged few phoshootings and registered to local Hungarian agencies for modeling and acting jobs, but life keeps slapping me :)Locally I get turned down in many cases, as I am mostly characterized as "extreme look" or "not a mother type" (I am a mom of a 9 year old). Local media, modeling agencies, productions still tend to put in highlight in many cases brown or blond women with long hairs and only young looks.  Nowadays I am accepting this fact, I am networking and searching for opportunities abroad, where my look is accepted and seen as unique, hoping to land a role, a modeling contract or a music project that will get me on my real path! :)And I encourage my son everyday that he is perfect to me just as he is! I live in Hungary, a country where unfortunately there is still much to do about acceptance of diversity, multiethnicity, homophobia, racism, women and child protection!!  I have friends and acquitances of various ethnics and though I am not attending any kind of protests, I tend to surround myself with colorful people from all-around the world.I would like to have more projects where I would deliver a message to the my country that diversity is beautiful, possibly via music.During Covid-19 lockdown I was part of a music video project with a group of multiethnical expats where we managed to reach some audience. The goal was to draw attention on solidarity of the foreingers, expats living in Hungary toward Hungarian people.I perceived, approached the project in a bit different way, please read the article with my statement about the project and watch the video: https://xpatloop.com/channels/2020/5/video-expats-sing-famous-local-tune-to-salute-hungary-as-their-home-during-lockdown.html?fbclid=IwAR3Wb40VnbR0bVTbo4wtyxXFb30BoDPxmpU-07i0PqPin5lN2ZYzHpKweSk Some additional information on me, check my photos and videos on my website:https://karvakg.wixsite.com/gabi   Thank you!
