Coming from a Pakistani Immigrant Household, I've had my fair share of challenges in adjusting to Canadian cultues. However, I could not be more proud and grateful for all the opportunities Canada has provided me and my family. I am a passionate and curious gal, always looking to learn about other people and what makes them tick.

I believe in the value of hard work, commitment and believing in yourself. My goal is to simply make life lighter for the people around me and be a sparkling, positive spirit for everyone. Not everyday is perfect but I try to make the best of it. My biggest dream is to be a Movie Director and comedy writer for the cast of Saturday Night Live. I know that with enough persistence and grit, I will get there one day. Plus you know what they say, at least I will land with the stars even if I don't make it to the moon.

Given my ethnic background, I will be able to shed light on the importance of celebrating diversity in oneself as well as within one's community. Secondly, being a fashion hero will give me a platform to push for more initiatives for sustainable fashion practices starting from the very factories where clothes are made all the way to the Department stores that sell them.
