Hi, I'm Nellie and I'm 17. I was adopted when I was 9. When I was 3 I was put in foster care and experienced a lot of bad stuff but I won't let that stop me.

I want to be a singer or a cosmetologist . I love singing and styling people's hair. I want people to feel special and beautiful no matter what they look like.

There a lot of kids in foster care and they don't have a voice. I want kids to see me and know that they decide what their life is like not the people who think they own them.
