I am Afrika, like Africa but with a K! Get it right! Dallas, Texas is where I was born and raised, but NYC is my HOME! I came from little, so I make sure to stay hustling. Never afraid to speak my mind and I love making fun out of any situation. I am a, Creative Director! I can’t stick to one thing, so why not do it all! I’ve had a successful dance career. Ballet Mostly! Teaching at various, NYC schools to pass down my energy and what I’ve learned plus more! Now, I’m stepping into the modeling field & photographer for NYFW. I love being a female music producer/engineer/artist. It’s a challenge in the big city, but I’m a soldier! Happiness within yourself is KEY.

I love how, Fashion Hero keeps it versatile between model contestants. Especially from all over the world! Giving different flavors & open minded to other cultures fashion. Never afraid to spark a new idea for fashion, & also on edge. It’s brilliant to do a tv series, to see who will be the next face for a renowned brand's advertising campaign.

I will be a great role model for this generation, because I’m AFRIKA yo! I know I’m always positive, even in the most down times. I stay hype, and mostly confident! Showing confidence plays a big role. Competition or not, I never like to put anyone down. Give out what you want to be brought to you. I love to influence others with my actions and I love to motivate others, especially the children. To strive to uncover our true potentials and overcome our weakness. Everyone likes a person who is happy with their achievements, but continues to strive for bigger and better objectives, no matter what you FEEL you didn’t achieve or not. Also, pushing others to do the same!
