I feel The Fashion Hero TV Series is an awesome platform to establish during the era of becoming a fashion forward society, we are experiencing today! For me, Fashion Hero is all about unique individuals who carry a greater message beyond the stage, clothes and make up! Fashion Hero is giving permission for individuals to fully express and embody their authentic selves.
For all of my life, I never quite felt heard..seen...or accepted for who I was. An Indigenous First Nations girl turned woman, now mother. I belong to a rich and beautiful heritage with distinctive language and customaries, of which is now at risk through the historic process of colonization. I am here to ensure Indigenous First Nations People of Canada continue to be heard and seen! There are many strong activists continuing the "good fight" utilizing their respective platform. Fashion Model just happens to be my calling. I work to ensure authentic Indigenous First Nations Beauty and Culture will continue to create and take up space.
