My name is Daniela, I am 17 years old and I live in a little country in Central America called Honduras. I am currently studying to be a doctor. I love everything that can give me a shot of adrenaline, i live for it. Sadly there is not much of that around here. I love traveling and meeting new people and their cultures.

I believe that this is a very noble cause. The fashion industry has brainwashed society into thinking that there is only one brand of beautiful, and that has been damaging for everyone else that does not fit into that mold. The Fashion Hero is here to change that. Make everyone see that we are all beautiful in our own way. It doesn't matter if you have big thigs, or barely any curves. We are all unique and that's what makes us beautiful. Besides this, the fashion hero is also helping people from all over the world achieve their dreams. Becoming a model or an actor is incredibly harder if you aren't from one of the countries prevailing in those areas. There is not one single famous model from Honduras, for example.

I believe I would be a great role model because I could help people deal with the concept that we are all beautiful, because it is something that I struggled with and achieved to overcome. I used to fear what people would think of me, and never really saw myself as enough. My own family used to tell me all the time that I looked fat and that my thighs were too big and my arms had too much flab hanging and i believed them. I hated seeing myself on a mirror, going shopping was my worst nightmare because no matter what I tried on I always thought I looked ugly. I entered a store full of hope and confidence only to comw out of it nearly in tears. I can now see that I am perfect the way I am, I was never fat or ugly, they just conditioned me to believe it. I never want for someone to feel the way that I did and this is the perfect way to help the youth from today. Those teens that will see this show in their formative years and learn that being skinny isn't everything and that you can achieve whatever you strive for.
