Hi! I am a single mom with type one diabetes and celiacs disease. But this isnt who I am, it's just a part of me. I love to spend my time outdoors and enjoy community involvement. Family is a huge priority and focus for me, we like to get together whenever we can. And when it comes to food...let's just say I love it all!

I love the thought behind the series. I follow so many body positive influencers and hashtags. I love to see real people in real life without all the airbrushing and filters. Bodies are just bodies and they're all beautiful. I think If social media and advertising showed more real bodies in all shapes and forms of diversity, then women wouldn't grow up so self conscious of themselves.

I am confident that I would be a good role model not only because I am a type one diabetic and because I have celiacs disease; but, I also have a first nation's background and as a mother I wear my fair share of curves and stretch marks. Having an insulin pump site or stretch Mark's show doesnt stop me from wearing whatever trendy clothing I desire to wear. I am unique in so many ways, and not just by what some people see as challenges, but also by all of the perfectly imperfect things about me that make me beautiful on the inside and out.
