Who am I?

I’m the exception to every thing school taught you, I burst everyone’s personal bubble space & I move about my days with A.D.D. bunny trails with a splash of bipolar. Both diagnosis are managed but I still have my moments.. or days... Second Instagram is @jaxellamarie

What do I think about The Fashion Hero TV series?

I believe it has given all genres, diversity among us, one voice and that is a voice of confidence, proud and yet still encompasses a woman’s fragility & a harnesses from a mans chest in a beautiful way. It allows viewers to see reality but in a tangible way. The audience has a sense of relatedness to the authenticity of the show and the those on it.

Why would I be a great role model for this generation and inspire people as the new face of The Fashion Hero?

I believe I would be a great role model for this generation because I am the viewers. I am Irish, Filipino & American Indian adopted out from the Philippines at 2 and within US 4 years old. I’m 5 feet and that alone is something the fashion industry could work on.... that is, expanding our selection of “short” jeans to other brands than hollister or New York and Company. I would hope being authentically myself... quirky, deflect always with a joke & being real with my story. Adoption is just the beginning of my story and it never stops- did I mention I have an identical twin? I would hope I would inspire those in pain to work through that by tapping into their creativity and innovation to be more than average but ordinary. I would like to inspire those in defeat that the bend is around the corner and it’s ok if a 100 proof is the only way you get any sleep. A great role model is an individual who encompasses certain positive traits that become natural, conditioned behavior. I would like to show that sometimes knowing and staying in your lane is a way of survival. Inspire others to want to dig deep into themselves and really stare at their reflection and if you don’t like what’s staring back at you, well.... then get to work so you can bring what your worth to the table and no one knows your worth till you have placed value on yourself. So get comfy getting uncomfortable and if you question, “no she didn’t..” then I did. Be humble. Be receiving of negativity, process it enough to get what you need then replace it with your innovative thinking skills to show your resilience. It’s ok to say “no” and it’s also ok to say “yes”. I believe I would be a great role model because I physically am not the height and I have a specific look of features that would set me apart, emotionally I would model how to feel the fear but work through it, not around or left laying around, and I truly believe my that if my story, that has a lot of chapters I wish I could burn, can inspire just one person to know that darkness comes before dawn... if I can inspire viewers to understand that masterpieces were always edited, critiqued and sometimes not appreciated for years to come, then I’ve inspired at least two people. The viewer and who ever the viewer inspires. Create a positive domino effect of raw emotions that can used as instruments to create a beautiful melody.
