My name is Jessica Rose and I am a Toronto based model, actor and creator. I identify as she/her. I was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario. I moved to Toronto to attend Theatre school and I graduated with high honours. Currently, I work 4 part-time jobs, have taken part in professional theatre and films gigs, and have recently started modelling. I consider myself to be a very shy and quiet person. That's just who I am! However, I am also very friendly, empathetic and kind. When it comes for my time to shine, I've been told that I become a DRAGON. And I am not afraid to embarrass myself during the process.

I think the series is what we need in the industry right now. I have been in it for a few years and it is stressful and sometimes agonizing. It has made me look at myself and become very critical. This show offers a chance for everyone to express their inner beauty and the reality of what it is today. Not what we see through the lens of edited media. It inspires everyone to be proud of who they are and what they look like. I want to be a part of that message.

First of all, I am too short to be a model. Or, at least, walk the runway, which is a dream of mine right now. I break out constantly. I would label myself as an underdog because I've had to work so hard in this industry and on myself to gain the skills and confidence to make it. And I'm still working on that. I think I would be a great role model because I represent the people who are not handed money and success on a silver platter. I want to encourage everyone to keep dreaming and go after what they want, because that is exactly what I am doing. And I know I can make it. I believe there is beauty in everyone and everything.
