I'm on a path of self-discovery. I've always allowed my weight to hinder me from going after my dreams. I've decided I don't want to do that anymore.
I'd love to be apart of the fashion world, but always felt like being petite plus size and apple shaped meant that I wasn't meant for the fashion world. Given the chance I'd like to break old school beauty standards usually meaning; tall, skinny, and mainly white.
I think they're a lot of women who, like me believe or think that fashion isn't something they can do. Especially since plus size models are never petite in height and always hourglass and pear shape. Meaning that every woman who is an apple shape whether they're tall or not is underrepresented. We (apple shape girls) are said to have the worst body type. I want to step out and prove to both myself and other women who look like me; that our body should be recognised just as much as other plus size bodies.
