I think in this day and age anyone that believes enough in themselves can be anything they want to be. Fashion Hero is the stepping stone for those of us that have insecurities about ourselves or haven’t had the chance to do what we have dreamed of since childhood. We may be overweight or underweight, come from different backgrounds and cultures. We may not be of the standard beauty in the eyes of “Fashion”. Fashion Hero celebrates diversity and the rawest form of beauty. Whatever we are, I believe Fashion Hero gives us a chance to show the world what power we have to give.

As a victim of domestic violence, where I suffered numerous injuries and countless name calling. I managed to get out alive. I still bare the scars for all to see and my insecurities still run deep within me.This opportunity will let me show men and women and children alike that it’s not the end of the world. You CAN get out and you will succeed. We need to let the world know that it is ok to trust in yourself. Fashion is a great way of putting yourself back together again and showing your individual and unique self. To be who you were meant to be and conquer your fears of rejection.
